What is your favorite verse in Scripture?

When Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing near, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” The he said to the disciple “Behold your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.
John 19:26-27

What is your favorite thing about Jesus?
I love the humanity of Jesus. Sometimes it can be difficult to imagine what God the Father or the Holy Spirit might look like, despite the bible saying that we were created in the image and likeness of God, but Jesus puts a face to our Creator. I’ve heard it said that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. So then, Jesus is God having the human experience, and that’s something I can identify with.

For we have not a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sinning.
Hebrews 4:15

What is your favorite thing about being Catholic?
As Catholics, we believe that we have the fullness of revelation. Other religions and spiritual practices have some truth in their beliefs, but we have The Truth.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
